What is Paint CorrectionTo achieve the perfect finish on your vehicle it is vital that the paint surface does not contain any imperfections. You may think that your paintwork is in good condition but have you taken a closer look in direct sunlight? It is extremely common to find swirling, holograms, cob-webs, oxidation, water-spots, bird excrement and bug etching and other random scratches on your vehicle. Removing such imperfections safely and effectively is what H2O Auto Spa specializes in. Our Paint Correction process will restore the paintwork back to how it was supposed to look after leaving the factory. In most cases we will rejuvenate the paintwork to a level that is better than “brand new.” Our Radiance and Exterior Only Treatments includes paint correction. Or you can purchase it separately.

What is a Clay Bar Treatment?A Clay Bar is a special type of engineered polymer resin compound ( clay) developed in Japan. It is specifically used to remove contaminants from the surface of your vehicle's paint, glass, fiberglass and metal. These contaminants can include industrial fallout, rail and brake dust, chemical and paint over sprays etc. These contaminants enter the clear coat, glass and metal of your vehicle, making your vehicle's finish rough to the touch and can remain embedded though rain, car washes, and even polishing. The only way to remove these pollutants is by using detailing clay. This process involves applying a lubricant and systematically rubbing all surface areas until the surface is completely smooth and clear of debris. The Clay Bar pulls and absorbs these contaminants into itself, safely removing them from your vehicle, creating an absolutely clean surface. We believe all surfaces must be completely clean before any paint correction can be commenced and before any waxes or sealants can be applied. We incorporate a Clay Bar Treatment in all our complete detail treatments. Note: A Clay Bar treatment typically adds between 1-2 hours to your treatment time, depending on the extent and types of contaminants involved .

What are swirls?Swirls are the most common form of paint imperfection problem found on vehicles. They appear as spider cob web-like patterns in your clear coat and are easily visible in direct sunlight. These patterns reflect light in a million different directions to detract from the the overall shine of your vehicle. Our paint correction process can remove these. The difference will amaze you!

How do I know if a scratch can be removed?A good way of assessing a scratch is to run your fingernail over it. If your fingernail catches in the scratch; that generally means it is too deep to be removed without professional help. Scratches and swirls that extend through to the color coat will require repainting or a touch-up at the very least. Do not attempt to remove these scratches because you can remove the entire clear coat, resulting in paint system failure.

How our interior cleaning differs from the competition? Our goal is to completely clean and condition your vehicle's interior using the best and safest methods and products available. We utilize high powered steam machines from Europe to clean and sanitize your vehicle, heated-water carpet extractors to clean and remove carpet stains, ozone and natural enzyme treatments to remove odors. Many of our cleaning and conditioning products are sustainable and hypo-allergenic, (we do NOT use greasy, petroleum-based leather conditioners) and our nano/ceramci coatings are imported from the U.K.
